When I was in high school, WMUR 9 would run a short program called the New Hampshire minute that would feature something amazing about the granite state. I believe they only produced two spots, one about the Zimmerman House and another about something I don’t remember.
The Zimmerman House was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built by one of his apprentices. It is unique in that it is one of the few publicly viewable Wright homes on the east coast and is also down the street from another Wright home.
My challenge was to photograph a building that had been over photographed from a new point of view. I decided to focus not on the structure itself but to the shapes that make up the whole.
